Shortly after leaving
Fresno State University in 1958, Walt Reinhardt started
his insurance career in the city that gave the
university its name. Little did Walt know that years
later the name “Reinhardt” and “insurance” would become
inextricably linked in the minds of most California
central valley business owners. Walt formally started
the agency in 1965 with a key to an office and a couple
of company contracts. Today the agency boasts over 20
employees, numerous licensed professionals, over $20
million in premium volume and preferred relationships
with some of the nation’s finest insurance companies.
Since 1991, Reinhardt Insurance joined with seven other
Central Valley agencies to form a marketing company
called Sierra Gateway Insurance Services, Inc. The
arrangement allows Reinhardt Insurance to maintain their
independence while having the large combined volume of
business and clout with carriers that the largest
agencies do, all the while providing the customized
service to customers typical of a small locally owned
agency.
In Fresno and California’s great Central Valley the
reputation of the Reinhardt Insurance Agency has become
synonymous with integrity and insurance professionalism. |
